December 1st SAT Discussion

What was the ans for SC graffiti

Assign - encourage

So on the CR I got, nature, soduku, FDR new deal, and memories with bats, plums. Which one was exp? I got another CR right after the nature (section 2) on section 3

Godammit! Read too fast and put salutary.

I got ostentatious/humility, overly exacting, flooding, pernicious

And does anyone else think that the CR was harder than average? Out of all the practices and real tests I’ve taken, this wasn’t the hardest but definitely in the most difficult third. Hopefully there’s a good curve because I’m at -1 to -3 and I’m praying for an 800

what was the salutary sentence and why are people saying it’s wrong? :open_mouth: (although i don’t think i chose that either… lol)

Any one remember the math question about test scores, asked about the mode and median???

Which ones did you get no errors for and what were the sentences for each?

@asiankid I said that the median stayed the same

why??? can u explain it???

No errors-
Ants
Drums
Female senator or something

Median stayed the same 99.9% positive. I still have the values on my calc if it needs to be proved.

Originally, the mode was 20 (with 8 kids). It then said that the mode tripled. Triple = 60. At 60, there were originally 5 kids. In order for 60 to be the new mode, all 4 new kids had to get 60s. Therefore, 60 now has 9 kids. If you do the math, the median is the same.

Was whoopi Goldberg a no error? If not what was the error? I don’t remember what I put

And what was the last grid in? I said 2.4 because that made both intercepts 12 which doesn’t work when the slopes are different

Whoopi is being debated between as for her or as it does her. I put as for her as the latter has no “for”. The beginning clause did have for, so it wasn’t exactly parallel imo. Plus, it sounded kind of strange without the for.

I think the question you’re referring to is the k value one? If so, it was 2/5. Because it equated to something along the lines of 2x + 5 = 2x + 2.

@Stark, which K value one? like a+2 = k/(something)? where a = -4?

@phoenix it was the last grid in question that asked for the value of k

No, I’m referring to one where it was like:
2x + 15 = 5k(x + 1)
It was at the end of a section.

Hey guys what would my scores be for the SAT version of the test with documentary photos, Sudoku, crates, and gardens?
I think I got -4 CR -5 Writing and -2 Math

i remember the whooopi one because they have asked it several times before. it is a parallel construction question ( or you may call it a correlative conjunction question) of “not so much for … as for …”

I hope that makes sense.
