December 1st SAT Discussion

Oh, don’t remember that question then :p

@Megan
For past curves, you can look here:

Also why did the author put quotes around “objective”?? Did anyone put the tone shift from serious to humorous for that???

Was the whoopi Goldberg question a sentence correction or identify the error question?

@Megan
Try version 2, this is for a different test than you took.

Sentence correction @Oscar

Wait, are there like two fully different sets of tests?

Indeed 10char

Where’s the forum for the other test? :/

Here: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/1423766-dec-1st-cr-version-ii-brain-functions-photography-father-artist-discussion.html</a>
and: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/1423890-december-sat-version-ii-curve-photography-time-zones-brains.html</a></p>

yes, there were two version- which I am not sure why we are still on this thread instead of the respective threads…but anyway,

the whoopi question was #14 on section 10 (fixing the sentence)

@starkmadness THANKS!!!

Does anyone know which maths were experimental? Was it the one with the coins?

There was a math question with Roman numerals. It was like “acge” = 0, and “efgh” =1. Which of these does not equal 0, or something like that. What was the answer? I think I put I & II.

wasn’t it only 1 choice? i only got 1 but i cant remmember which one.

is there a thread about the passages with PLUTO and the Caribbean chick?

Did you guys put qualify or clarify for the CR question referring to the parentheses in the pluto passage?

I put clarify.

And for the math question I put I & II
I can’t remember the answer choices but I figured out what variables would give your zero.

@nicoleg I believe it was only I for that question

^are you sure? I had two Roman numeral questions and I remember putting I on one of them and I & II on the other… Oh well.

@Haphazard, I think that one was (I) only, the other two asked you to multiply a variable by one of the numbers in the =0 equasion, which means there’s the possibility you multipling something by 0. (I) was the only one without this ambiguity.

At least that’s what I’m thinking.
