Yeah, that tree one I left blank too. It was something where it listed 4 types of trees, and I just thought, "screw THAT!" and left it blank. hahahaha I'd be happy with a 400, considering how much of that test I left blank.

None of the choices for the one about the colorblind kid (I think it was labeled person #6) or rather why he WASN'T colorblind. None of the choices seemed to fit. Colorblindness SOMETIMES skips a generation (I think that's the one I picked because the others were just waaaaaaaay too far off), but not always, so I wouldn't necessarily associate that with the gene...

what about the polymerase question? and whats a Bristle?

for polymerase i put amplify q of DNA

according to wiki a bristle is a thin hair

i tried guessing but now i thnk i shoulve just left it blank

did anyone put the bristle thingy as an answer or did u just put hair ( was it in the choices) ?

I picked that it split the DNA strand at different locations... I remember hearing something about DNA polymerase, and I associated it with splitting the DNA for recombination. However, I usually would associate a word sounding like "polymerase" with putting something TOGETHER, which was also a choice, soo..... I might have made the wrong choice. lmao Oh well!

hair was a choice for one, and i put it for number 3 or something or 4

Yeah... well... it went ok... i think. There was one I left blank and 8 I was not 100% sure on. But I looked over some of the ones that were ify and I think they seem OK. Hopefully. Then factor in one or two mistakes other mistakes....

helicase im pretty sure splits in the replication fork, i remember hearing DNA polymerase is the key enzyme in DNA replication a lot of times... who knows? I hate CB

you know for the plant experiment, it said like which of these nutrients is the most limiting, which did you guys put? I put carbon

do u guys remember the q about chromosome mutation which of the choices wasnt responsible for it ?? was it translocation fingers crossed
and what about the genome ques??

i put nitrogen / phosphate ^-^

The genome question was coding for proteins, definitively. :)

i put translocation. and DNA polymerase i put the one about putting togther. also..the plant experiment i left blank, iwasnt sure at all

For which one of these is NOT a chromosomal mutation im like 90% sure its synapsis (because it is the pairing of homologous chromosomes during meiosis)

Wait, why would the plant one be nitrogen or phosphate? they were each separate answers first of all, and secondly the growth increased

SillBill, can you remind me what the genome question was like, so I can thank god I did not make a dumb mistake

but what if something goes wrong in synapsis mutation occurs and isnt translocation transport of food in a plant ??
this test is really makin me nervous i hope the curve is good ! :(

Translocation is definitely a chromosomal mutation. I don't want to sound almost sure it was synapsis

I think you are thinking of transpiration which is evaporation of water from plants

............

Reciprocal Translocation is a chromosomal mutation they only said translocation ! :(

Chromosomal translocation - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

wat was the answer to the genome question..i put 30,000 proteins or sumthing.. i dont remeber. also i put synapsis..i was thinking synapsis was the transmitter of signals thing so it cant be a mutation. and i know transloaction is def. a mutation. i have it one of my prep books. did the circulatory sytem question seem hard. i didnt knwo wat animal it was like..i put a bird.
