December 2010 SAT Math

oo not bad guys. i went to watch how to tame a dragon and the list is all wrapped up in a nice lil package xD

Can someone please also give more specifics on these questions

Don’t remember these two at all:
16 (area of square; it gave u a parallelogram and it dealt with a 345 triangle)
18pi (6pi was the area of 1/3 of the whole circle)

Remember solving it but have no idea what answer I’ve got. What was the actual numbers and wording in this problem?
16 (prime number factor; choice D)

There was a question with an inequality with absolute value involved and you had the pick the numbers that made it work. It was choice A. Can anyone confirm?

i dont remember a diagram of a triangle in a triangle, and how would the answer be negative 50 then, im assuming its a geometry question, so negative cant be right.

@fl: can u elaborate on the x-z and 4?

@fl: yeah i think it was choice A

w,x,y,z each is 2 more than the preceding. What is value of z-x and its 4

@FL was the abs value question the one where the question was l2x-yl> something? and the answer was def A for that

Something to that effect

dam i thought it was z - w! fail… 6 was an option right?

This may be one of the missing questions or it may be experimental

How many integers satisfy the following

|x| < 5
|x| > 3

i think 6 was an option. they were all multiples of 2’s and 4 was not the highest… so probably 6 was also an option

yes, I think it was a choice

Yeah. I had that originally then I looked over it and noticed z - x.

60/w is the amount money spent per trip on the gym membership (this one just came to me randomly just now lol)

48/54 (add to this if you remember any) only 6 more!!!

100pi question about circle radius 5 inscribed in triangle inscribed in larger circle.
4sqrt2

I think it was |2x + y| > 5 and the answer was (-3, -2).

Either that or |2x - y| > 5 and the answer was (-3, 2). I can’t remember.

Can you tell me the problem for the 9 root 2?

Somebody please elaborate on these two. I am going crazy over them! Don’t remember solving the first one at all and would like to know what the numbers for the second one were.
16 (area of square; it gave u a parallelogram and it dealt with a 345 triangle)
16 (prime number factor; choice D)

@krncutiex3 the answer was 16/3 or 5.3333 I believe. Is this the question that asked what is the greatest value of x but less than y?

@Flcollegeman i didn’t have like half the questions you stated. I think you had an experimental math section

does anyone remember a question asking about G and H and g and h and adding them?
