how does one go about determining which section is experimental? can someone please answer me?

i think another question was something about making an equation with h in weeks but i can’t remember it exactly

are you guys sure the computer lab question with the line graph was 124? I got 132(B) because I added up all of the class periods, not including lunch and got 140 then subtracted the people that were there during lunch once and got 132. If you subracted twice, then I thought that you wouldn’t be including them at all. Didn’t it say that the people there during lunch were there for 2 periods? So if you subtract twice, wouldn’t you not include them at all?

how does one go about determining which section is experimental? can someone please answer me?

We usually conclude which section is experimental by just concluding which questions people post are experimental section questions. Eventually people notice that all of those questions all came from the same section and people stop posting from it.

We can tell which questions are experimental by asking people who had a test with an experimental section that wasn’t math/CR/writing. So since I didn’t have experimental math I can pinpoint any question that is entirely foreign to me as experimental.
For example I don’t recall any question about “h weeks” (post 802 on this thread) so it might be experimental. If a lot of others agree with me that’s probably the case.

You determine which section that YOU had that was experimental by looking at how many of each section you had. There is 3 real sections for each math, CR, and writing. Then there is one experimental in any one of those. I had 4 writing sections so I had an experimental writing. It’s somewhat easier for me because the first section (the essay) and the last section (the 10 minute - 14 question) are never experimental. So my experimental section was one for the two writing sections I had in between (sections 3 and 5 for me) and I could go to the writing question thread and see which section everyone decided was experimental. But I don’t care that much.

@ mooo is the section with da question about breaking a triangle into smaller triangles with heights of 4, foreign to u?

There were 8 in there during lunch. It said they were in two other periods, so that would mean those 8 would be in 3 periods total. Since you have to count them at least once, you do 8x2 = 16, then subtract, and get 124.

Oh, no. I was just asking about that triangle problem (I had it on my test) because I wasn’t sure how you were supposed to solve it. So it’s not experimental I don’t think.

As for the computer lab question I don’t remember what I put (but I think I remember subtracting twice). But I think hat may have been wrong now. If it’s 3 periods total does that include lunch? In that case I didn’t count them during lunch and I also subtracted them twice which would eliminate them altogether. I think. So maybe 124 is wrong (I think I did put 124 though). I don’t remember the question well enough.

@ moo that section was my second 20 q section. So that means my first was deff experimental?? i did better on the latter too smh

my “friend” and I had the same sec 4,6 and 8 but diff section 2’s. So could there be multiple expertimental sections? He mentioned that the section two he had had a question with a graph as the 20th question. Mine was talking about an xy plane but no graph was present

Future why is this so hard for you. Whatever section you dont see any questions from on the consolidated list then that’s the experimental.

i was trying to be really optimistic cuz i think i got -3 in section 4

anyways @ flc how do u think u did?

I think I got either 1 or 2 wrong, hopefully 750+

Here it is again

There seems to be an absence of the other questions now =(. Im just gunna repost all the ones I can find that I had. If anyone had the same test please add.

@ Laerties what other math sections did u have. Did u have the one with a triangle that had to be broken down?

^The only triangle problems I had were the X+y-z=-50 and Perimeter problems. I didn’t have a math experimental though. I had writing.

ohhh diff tests then. but yoo, What are the highest and lowest scores that I should expect?
