Ok, thanks… Just want to verify.

The answer to the question asking the cause was the ineffectiveness and corruption of the Qing Dynasty. However, you are correct, it was led by a Chinese Christian, Hong Xiuquan, who sought to establish a Heavenly Kingdom, declaring himself the brother of Jesus Christ. Jut in case you were wondering.

How many points do people think it will be possible to get off on this test and still get an 800?

Based on past curves, -17 to -20 would be plausible.

If -17~-20 is reasonable for the December SAT II WH, how about for the June SAT II WH?
I’m choosing to cancel my scores; I’m not taking any chances since this was already a retake and I had barely any time to study.

Is the curve for June really that much worse with the influx of APWH takers?

-17 to -20 was a general range for WH. The curve is simply based on how difficult the test is (it is predetermined, and not influenced by the number of people taking it in a particular month). Thus, I do not have a separate prediction for June.

@BillyMC: Oh right, haha. Whenever I hear curve, I always think of the number of people taking it at that time… Pretty dumb of me. Thank you! :)

When’s the score coming out?

I read at Collegeboard.com that it comes out on December 22nd.

Nice job guys! Yes, scores come out on December 22nd.

Anyone else dieing to see the score?

^I’m curious, too. I just want to know how far I screwed my test. :)

The curve has nothing to do with the amount of test takers, but with how well people do on the test. Curves might be harsher in June because many test takers may be more well prepared after taking a whole year of World History.

Does anyone remember anything about the largest colony in Africa? I think some of the answer choices included Cape Colony, Uganda, Congo, etc.

results tomorrow, good luck everyone

scores should be out now. I got 760. Did better than I thought. Thought I’d bombed it real hard this time around

I feel a twinge of sadness for not getting an 800, but it’s not like it matters beyond bragging rights. Good score for independent studying, I suppose.
