***December 2013 - Math Level 2***

“If I get a 770 (780 if curve is good), would it be worth it to retake? I’m aiming for Ivy schools.”

You mean a good curve will only give us 10 more points than usual? Yikes, a guess a harder than usual test is not a good thing…

hey does anybody remember what they got for the last three problems? i got C for all of them

sorry i got C for 47, 49, and 50

What did that function approach as x got infinitely? I think it was y.

And what was the range of that one functions? I put all real numbers…

oh my god it was nerve wrecking… good luck to everyone

What did you get for the length of the major axis of the ellipse. Was it 2sqrt5 or was that from a practice test I was doing. I remember like 60x^2 + 30y^2 = 150

Hey zanydiamond, I did the same thing.

That was a question from the practice test, not the actual test haha! I remember skimming through the practice test 30 mins before the test to see what the actual test is like.

Box plot - I and III.
Since there was no “I, II, and III” answer - no need to look into II.

Nobody mentioned the adults’/children’s tickets question?

^No the only option in which I and III were together also had II in it…

For the ticket question, I just plugged in the values… Only one gave me the sum of the cost given.

What was the tickets question exactly? What was the given information and the answer choices. I think I had an equation like 4x + 2y = 1600? Please help guys! I really am considering cancelling and am super worried

I omitted five and don’t even want to make a guess at how many I missed. Just hoping for 700+ to get into Penn. Hope everyone gets the scores they’re dreaming of :)

I’m dreaming of an 800, but that’s impossible :’(

I plan to retake it anyways.

was the correct answer for babysitting the answer choice A or D? The alledged answer that 2008 guys said is (32.5-2x)/3.5 anyway

It was -2,5x+35/3.5 on our test i believe. 5 omit, 1 wrong so far… Decent chance at 800. Gl everyone .

Anyone took SAT Math 2 in Kiev(Medical University of UAFM)?

Answer for #1:
One of the properties of polynomial roots is as follows: The number of roots of a polynomial of degree n is equal to n, even if multiple roots are considered multiple number of times (both real and complex roots).

Using this property, we can find the minimum degree of this polynomial, and it is 6. But we can say nothing about its maximum degree. The degree of this polynomial can be any number greater than or equal to 6.

For the tickets question, was the question asking how many ADULT tickets were sold? I think I may have read it wrong…
