***December 2013 - Math Level 2***

last time i took math 2 was last month (Nov), but this time to me is totally different level compare to last month’s test.

dbeerr, meaning it’s harder this time? Sweet, higher curve.

your guys should answer as much as you can, the first time I omitted 7 questions, I get 710,
with no any studyimg I tried it again, that time I omitted 4 questions and i got 780
I regret that I didn’t do all questions for a 800

If you can’t rule out at least one answer then you shouldn’t put something down.

I skipped two and I have 3 wrong… Any chance of an 800?

@arabguy
Check what I posted on the previous page.

I skipped 6 and got around 5 wrong… Can I get a 750+?

@Fizza777 yea u would have around 750

If i skipped 4 and got 1 orrrrr posssibly 2 wrong would i have a shot at an 800??

What did you guys get for the one about externally tangent circle question (we had to get radius)? I think I skipped it since I got ridiculous number. Also, can someone remember the question about f(x)=x-2 question? I have no idea what that question was about…

PS. I am quite sure that the answer for asymtope was either 5 or 0, not both of them. I asked my tutor about this question and he said that we must simplify the function FIRST then try to find asymtope.

^True but as far as I remember, it couldn’t be simplified more. :/

Really hoping so!

How the heck would you do the one with the circle where you had to find the angle? The problem # was in the 40s. After the test I thought maybe you could do the inverse tangent of the point they gave you, is that right?

@ BassGuitar - Which question was that?

@ fizza777 hmm it was either (x-5)/ (x(x-5)) or (x+5)/ (x(x-5)) when it was simplified

Yeah what was that?

Does anyone remember any other questions? Come on guys!

The one with Csc and tan was -.577 right?

For the question about the undefined points it would be both 0 and 5. You are finding all points which would make the function undefined. Simplification would lead you to find the vertical asymptote but the question was asking for all points where function is undefined.

I think bass guitar is talking about the polar one. The answers was 206 but I can’t remember if I put that!!!

Yeah, you had to use the Law of Cosine…Unfortunately I missed it as well. The undisputed answer is 206 degrees
