Thanks harvard swag! I’ll probably take it again in January. You know what they say: 4th time is the charm

4 times?!?!?! what did you get the other 2 times?

The first time, I got a 570. But the last time, I got a 610. I’m really showing improvement :)

that’s good What school do you want to go to?

also for what major? because tbh you shouldn’t worry about math II so much if you’re going to be studying psychology or some humanities subject

HPY but I’d be okay with Cornell.

OMG I WANT TO GO TO HARVARD TOO! dude maybe we’ll see each other there! I’m fairly confident that I’m going to get it anyways. I’m a first generation and a valedictorian.

do you know the answer of #49, the one of the graph that was moved by a and you had to fid the staten bet that was incorrect or something like that?

Is a 700 still considered a good score? I was hoping for a 700, as I thought that was respectable, but after looking at the college board percentiles, it doesn’t seem to be very impressive - around 60th percentile. Your question/answer discussion is making me nervous, but I guess I can retake if I did horribly…

Also, this is my first time taking Math 2. For all you veterans out there - how was this test compared to previous ones? Do you think there will be a nice curve?

Well I wouldn’t consider myself a veteran but this is my 2nd time taking Math 2. It felt easier for me this time around however I still had the same time problems. (I only answered 40 of the 50 questions)
So basically, the ones I DID get to were easier than last time. But that’s just me. Leaving 10 blank will probably put me around the lower 700’s at the very most.

I got 760 in June, but i thought it was kind of hard. I left 2 blank and I guessed in two.

PURPLEPIANO ==>> Keep in mind : The percentiles are tough because the people taking the subject test are high achievers compared to the whole bunch that take the regular SAT. I think only 10 % of the ones who took sat 1 take Math 2. So a 60 % percentile on Math 2 is actually a 96 % compared to everyone who took the SAT 1.

General tendency is 700+ is a good score. And 750+ is very good. 800 is excellent. If i’d get a 700+ i’d defintely submit it.

To give you and idea, These are the middle 50 % of SAT subject test scores of Admitted M.I.T candidates

Math 2 : 770-800
Science : 740-800

And this is MIT, not a random school. So if you see this i think it’s safe to say that a 700+ is good score, no problem.

@meriks thank you! I’m planning to major in engineering so I will definitely need a decent score. I’m a junior, so I’ll have time to retake if needed, but I hope that isn’t necessary :)

So, did no one think it was pretty easy? When my proctor said 30 minutes, most of the people in my room said they were in the 40s.

@Co1ton I thought it was all right but I do competition math. For most of my friends who didn’t do competition math, it was a struggle to finish on time. You must have had really smart fellow takers.

yup

Anybody remember the answers to the last 5 questions? Were any of them C?

@Cornell132 can you recall any of the questions? cause I can’t remember the letters, only some of the answer choices

Was the one with the deck of cards 35?
