***December 2015 SAT (US Only) Thread***

@Yakisoba2
Are you referring to the intersections problem?

I can try. I regularly get 800s on math…

@annoyingorange I said all three for the triangle one

Yes please periso

Intersections is 8. You just find it for the part that was graphed and then double it

You guys won’t believe this…I got an experimental that was a section for the new SAT lmao. I opened the test and was like “What the hell? Am i taking the right test?” hahahaha

@garyasho2
It couldn’t have been all three because 70 can’t make it isoceles

I said it was a significant feature of earth

what was the one like 999x = y, so 1001 x = ???

The writing section was ridiculously hard. I felt like a lot of questions had errors, but I couldn’t find them and ended up putting no error… :confused:

@annoyingorange yes it can if the angles of the triangles were 55 55 and 70

The question stated that the function shown was between x = -8 and x = 0. It also said that the function was mirrored and asked for the number of intersections between y = 3/2 and the function between the interval x = -8 and x = 8. Since there were four intersections on the first half, there will be eight intersections total because the question asks for the number of intersections on both sides.

Was the sentence about Colorado’s national parks and winter sports no error?

the answer was was y+2x

What was the answer to last mc question b4 the grid-ins?

For the mountain Mars Venus passage,
Did you guys get “these planets are shaped by certain characteristics” as an answer?

Were the last two questions in the 10 min writing both No change

@Ialwayspanic yess that’s what i put! thanks :slight_smile:

@picats3141 yes that’s what I said

@hotlinebling33
That question’s answer was y + 2x. If 999x = y, then (999x + 2x), or (y + 2x) would equal 1001x.
