The (2x+3) question is zero because when you solve the other equation, you get -1.5. If you plug that in you get 0
@penngirlpending lol i feel ya…i think i made the most foolish mistake here… I picked 15 for number 6…for what reason? I have no idea…hopefully i didnt rebubble on my scantron lmaoo
@truculent I got the one with dispense. It was like “Although he wasn’t hesitant to dispense invective (criticism) at himself, he hated when his friends pointed out his flaws” (Idk if that’s exactly the phase but it was something like that.
What was the answer to the qrs<0 math question? Also what answers do you remember writing for the procrastination one?
Guys do you think that I should cancel my score if Im gonna get below 2000? Also are you taking the last one in January? I think it will be super hard since they want people to take the new sat in March… Also there is a conflict because the YALE Model UN takes place on 23 January which is the SAT testing day… Idk what to do since I already payed for MUN but really want to take the January one, or do I?
What section was the question with the finding the area of the triangle on (it was the one with coords 4,6 and 12,0)??? Just checking
1/2 (6 * 12) = 36, right?
Wasnt that the first section section after writing ?
@RunAllDay2 I think it was the short answer part of the math section
@hotlinebling33 yeppp
I have no idea why did I say E) for this question. It was clearly a zero. I got -3/2 for the x and then I plugged in to the equation (2x+3) andI chose answer 3/2 I think… Im a big retard
I almost picked 72…then smiled to myself for catching it
@Cece0499 better question: Was it on the 20 problem, 16 problem, or one of the two 18 problem section?
@lalwayspanic
When I first took the SAT last month, I got 1950. I wanted at least a 2000, but I think even a score below 2000 is worth keeping because many people told me it was good. Additionally, it’s the fact that there are so many overachievers on here that complain about something like 2220+ that make us feel that only something above 2200 is worth keeping, when in reality something like only 3% of test takers achieve such a score
Yikes…im not sure
@OptimisticLad but I want to study at MIT like my brother
does anyone think the January test will have a good/bad curve because a lot of people are taking it?
@lalwayspanic
Same, but I mean there’s more to the admission process than just the scores, so have faith in that. You can also alternatively ask for a refund
Nevertheless, anyone remembers the 3 writing questions:
- Had she leave much earlier ... would have missed her bus -> I said that it cannot be "much" so answer A
- ... ,to much dismay of even his most loyal followers -> I think I said no error
- Attending most of the candidates' meetings .. I made an informed decision -> I said no error
@OptimisticLad very good point…honestly when you hit the 2000 range you already surpass mostly everyone…in fact thats a little higher than the 90th percentile which is amazing. I agree 100% with you.
