***December 2015 SAT (US Only) Thread***

So nervous! This is my last chance!
I’ve been getting 2100-2400 range on my practice tests so I’m hoping that will translate to a 2200+

GOOD LUCK Y’ALL

where is the international thread?

Got deleted ofcourse.

Everyone was discussing questions.

What’s the point ?

They are not going to change the answers ,are they ?

OK, words of wisdom (?) from a mom, an SAT prep teacher, and a Senior math teacher:

Grab something to eat before you leave the house. You’ll need food in your body.

Make sure you have all the documentation you need-- admit ticket, photo ID, and so on.

Make sure your pencils are sharpened; the room may not have a sharpener.

Make sure you have your calculator.

Don’t obsess about timing. Take the questions in order, from easiest to hard. If you have to skip a question, do so. If you want to take a guess, do so but do it quickly. Statistically, guessing will have no effect on your score one way or the other.

Deep breaths. You’ve probably already taken the SAT. This test can only improve your chances-- it won’t hurt you.

Good luck!

Good advice. I’m leaving to the test center in about 2 hours, good luck everyone!

Good luck to everyone taking it today.

WHOOO WE GOT THIS GUYSSS!!

Thought?

Writing was hard this time

Anyone get 3 no errors in a row

I got like 4 so figured out that sths wrong and changed two of them… There was one question saying sth about tourists seeking outdoor activities… I chose no error but then changed it to A) because I was thinking it should be “who seek”

Ugh I think my experimental section was reading but I’m not sure. And @pokemon1 no I didn’t

I panicked so badly that I missed some easiest questions in math section  I was hoping for above 2200 but best I can get from this one is like 1900 if Im lucky…

Yeah this one was actually hard… Especially the writing

And I agree that writing was hard… last time I got 710 and I regularly get around 760 on practice tests and this one was just intimidating. But I think that reading was fairly easy even though I messed up vocab questions completely…

Personally I thought writing was hard (and yeah I got a lot of no errors whuch probably means I’m wrong), reading was medium- level, and math was really, really easy. Which is weird because last time it was opposite. Hopefully that means good things for my superscore?

I think the curves will be bad all around this time. Especially CR. I got an 800 writing last time with decent curve (-1 10 essay) and I would say this time around it was easier than the November one, so maybe expect a moderate curve. Math was way easier than November’s (-1 800 curve) so expect a really harsh one (probably around -1 is 770).

EDIT: everyone says writing was hard, so the curve might be nicer!

Very ecstatic right now!

CR: So easy
Math: Moderately difficult
Writing: Relatively difficult

Ommited 3 math, 4 CR, 0 Writing, and essay went fantastic. Expecting at least a 2200

Is everyone’s experimental the same??
