December Math II - Ouch. Hard.

what were the books that you guys used to prepare for this?? i have a kaplan book, but in your opinion after this test, is it worth it to have a barrons??

..That's uh, actually it's considered as cheating. XD

5 hours sleep + no prep (well some online review of material ~20 minutes)

didn't find it that tough, though the time element really kicked in:

Q#31==>"40 minutes remaining"
Q#42==>"18 minutes remaining"

lol either I dozed off or semething or some of those questions were REALLY time consuming

i took us hist...great shape...loved it

bio...awesome...actually had fun and would take sat II bio in my free time

then i got to the decision for the last (didnt make until after i finished my second test)

I was considering lit, math2, chem, or just leaving with only the 2

I picked the wrong one...wish i went with chem....math 2 for me sucked because i was just tired and bored by that time...i left at least 8 blank....hopefully the other good scores balance this out

i was considering breaking my calculator and telling the proctor it malfunctioned because that is the only way you can cancel math w/o cancelling others.

by the way...if your college only requires 2 sat IIs and you send 3, do they consider all or just the best 2??

best two. or so they say.

Math II was extremely hard, left 10 blank. Questions were way too time comsuming.

Anyways, from the College board prep books for Math and the other subject tests, its about average for a raw acore of 44 to still be an 800 (if I remember correctly) but what is the easiest, persay, scoring curve that anyone has seen for Math II? Has it ever been a 40 is an 800 or 38 or less? I sure hope so. lol

i didn't think IIC was that hard. the questions were just very very time consuming. i skipped 4 problems.. but i dont know if i did the rest correctly x_x

i wish i had my score right now "/

The easiest 800 I've seen is 41.

!!! haru, stop raising my hopes. :)

i'm almost positive i got a 41.50...

What score would you get if you omitted 5 and missed 3?

That's around 790-800..

Omitted 5 and missed 3 = 41.25, which is most likely a 790 or 780, unless they make the curve nicer :P

Don't want to incur the wrath of those of you who have taken the test, but how hard was it compared to Barrons (assuming that some if not all of you used it to prepare)?

Much easier than Barrons, for sure.

Do u guys really think the curve will be a 41 for an 800?

easier than barrons.

"Do u guys really think the curve will be a 41 for an 800?"

I really don't think so. It wasn't completely out of the ordinary. To me, it was much easier than the one I took in October.

i think collegeboard just likes ruining lives

...lives?...people take these things too seriously. if your life is based on a standardized test then you've got other problems besides a bad score.
