December or February ACT?

Hey guys,

Let me give you the backstory. I am signed up to take the SAT Math II in December. I also want to take the ACT this year and get it over with, so I can focus senior year on other things. My dilemma is should I take the ACT in December (a week after the Math II) or in February? My logic for taking it in December is that I'll be finished with all tests (provided I get a good score) before winter break, and I can devote my time to self-studying the AP's I'm going to take this year. However, I also feel that 2 tests one week from each other may kind of screw me over, and I may under prepare for one. The argument for not going in February is the same: I want to have the time to self-study comfortably. So guys, what are your opinions? December or February ACT? Is one more difficult that the other?

Thanks!

I think you should take the December ACT. You could always mold your Math II and ACT Math studying together into one big math prep. Maybe you’ll even do better!
And you can always retake in February if your December score isn’t so hot.
