**December World History**

Hi! So I'm a junior and I'm about to take the SAT subject test for World History. I have a passionate love for history, and I know a lot of world history especially ( I'm a HUGE history nerd) but I have never taken a formal AP World History course. My last school was an IB school (I'm a navy brat so I move around frequently) so in ninth grade I took IB Western Civ.

However, I don't know if that's going to be sufficient for taking the test and that is the main cause of my worry. I'm committed to self studying for an entire month but I want to know how large of a hill I have to climb to get a great score.

So what are my chances? Am I doomed or do you think I have a fair chance at succeeding? And what are the best prep books? I have heard that a combo of Barron's and Princeton Review are good but I'm not sure.

Any and all help would be appreciated :)

It’s better to use the combo of Barron’s and the Official SAT Subject Tests book, Barron’s for review and hard practice tests and the official one for an accurate idea of where you are.

Wait, calirerepublic, i have Barrons and PR, and found the Barrons tests a hell of a lot easier. I got 760 and 700 on the two of them, did a lot worse on the PR ones. I don’t have the Collegeboard official guide and can’t get it. Any chance i get a 750+?? And what did you guys use to study? i also have absolutely no teaching for this, because in India we don’t have World History courses. But i have a decent historical background. Sorry for the rambling i’m really anxious.
