Decision Date?

Thank you guys! Ah OK, so Georgetown determines international applicants by their High School and not their addresses? The only reason why I’m wondering is because I’m a US citizen and both my addresses are in the US.

@Collegedude123 Now you are confusing :)

If you are a US Citizen, then how come you call yourself an International Student? Did you do High School outside USA? If that is the case then I have no Idea what Schools classify you under.

Yea I’m a US citizen but I go to an international school outside of the US. Both my addresses are in the states though. I was just trying to clarify what I’d be classified as by Georgetown. If someone has the answer please let me know!

Geez, Georgetown sure likes taking their sweeeeet time…

I’m sorry for the obnoxious posting but I’m anxious to know whether or not letters will come today. Has anyone in Maryland, Virginia, or Delaware receive their mail yet? If there is nothing in your mail I’ll calm down for today.

I’m in MD and I’ve checked my mail; no decision today.

Thanks for the response! They must be mailing them soon if the letters have to be in everyone’s by the 2nd…

I called the undergrad admissions office and was told that they would be sent out late(r) in the week. I’m guessing they’ll be sent out Wednesday at the earliest? Not sure though, just speculating based on what she told me. She said that she thought (she wasn’t sure) that Saturday would be the earliest that people would get them. Not that that’ll stop me from nervously checking the mail everyday until I get it…

I’m getting so nervous for EA I recieved mine on the 10th of Decemeber!
My bet is that they are mailed on Wednesday! People in MD will get them next day!
Plus, for people who live on the west coast it takes about 3 days to get there via snail mail so if G-town wants everyone to have them by the 2nd Wednesday would be the day! Fingers crossed everyone I’m dying to know…!

Anyone get mail today in the DC area?

I dunno about DC, but nothing in MD today. I don’t expect anything until Thursday at the earliest.

Marylanders! Any mail?

no mail in VA

Just called them and they said they would be mailing decisions out on Friday so the earliest anyone will get them is Saturday.

This was the second time I called and this time the lady actually gave me specific dates.

@neverstopsmiling thanks for the info! I’ll be waiting in front of my mailbox till then…

I am really surprised they are going to be so late this year. West Coasters won’t receive mail until Monday at earliest …

I know this sucks :frowning: Luckily I live in NJ but I’m not sure if that’s close enough for me to get it on Saturday…

Friday? How can they be sure we’ll all get it by April 2nd?

Then again she could be BS-ing you so you dont call again :P

FutureVPFinance–that’s exactly what I’m thinking. I know for EA, they mailed them on a Friday and I got mine Monday in CT, so there’s no way people on the West Coast are getting it by Monday if they’re actually mailed Friday.
So they’re either not telling us the real mail date or they don’t intend for everyone to get them by the 2nd…
