it's difficult to decide because i live overseas and i don't know these two schools very well. could you please give me some suggestion?</p>
<p>UTs more than likely the better school. It is better nationally, but im not sure where the College of Communication ranks .</p>

I am a Boston University Comm grad. I am very involved with BU. I am on the Dean’s advisory Board at the School of Comm. I wanted my d to go to BU. She did not like the urban setting of BU. I called the Dean and asked him for other recommendations for Film schools. He raved about UT. </p>
<p>Newhouse is a good school. I think their strengths are more in the TV side. UT seems stronger in Film. UT also has a good tv program. Syracuse has a good reputation in the LA area. Many grads are working here. UT is coming on. They have a great semester program in LA.
I spoke yesterday to a class at UT/LA program. I was very impressed with the group. They had great internships. They asked smart questions. I recently spoke to a similar class at the BU la program. The texas kids impressed me more.
Either way you can not go wrong. You should know that Syracuse is very remote. They have long cold dark winters. Austin is a cool city. Much better weather.</p>
