Decision Help

Hello All!

I currently live in Indiana and am attending Ivy Tech Community College. In May, I will graduate with my AS in Education. I want to go to a 4 year college and get my BS in Elementary Education. I am having a hard time deciding whether to stay in state and go to a college here or go out of state like I have been contemplating.

The school I am looking into here in Indiana is Ball State University. The other schools that I am looking into are in Texas. They are University of North Texas, University of Houston and University of Texas - Austin.

I know the most about Ball State because I am from here and have gone on tours and have talked to people that have gone there. But I have virtually nothing to go on for the schools in Texas. I guess I am asking for information on these schools more than anything. What are they like? The atmosphere? How are the schools with FinAid for out-of-state students? Are they a good school for Elementary Education? If none of these schools would be good for Elementary Education, do you have any suggestions of schools that are good for it?

Any help at all will be appreciated. Thank you!
