Hey, so I got my decision in-mail today, after noticing it on their site, with the message, "As of 1/28/2008, we have reached a decision regarding your application. You will receive this decision in the mail in within two weeks."

So I read the letter, and it stated I got accepted into Altoona, which was my second choice campus. My first choice campus was University Park, but it hasn't really stated anything about it in the letter. So do I just conclude that I haven't been accepted there, or do I wait?

Basically the entire package is full of information for Altoona, with a "Congratulations", etc. Do I get a seperate one for University Park, or what?

Thanks

sorry, but you didn't get into UP :(

not to give you more bad news, but i believe housing is full at altoona already. if you are thinking of going you need to get in touch with them asap and get on their waiting list for housing, unless you are willing to live off campus.

i'm going to altoona, too. if you're a girl i believe they still have housing, but for guys there is a waiting list.

i would definitely get on it ASAP :)
yay altoonaaaaaa ! second best .. still counts?

have never been to altoona, as we were looking for my son, and they were definitely full.

got on the waiting list for housing at berks, but for boys it is very long. liked the look of the campus better than hazleton, but it is a personal choice.

i'm sure you will have a great time at altoona, and the more i think about it, it seems more appealing to go to a smaller school, at least at first until you learn the ropes. then you can transfer over to up in junior year but you will have your study habits and schedule more fine tuned.

good luck.
