On the Application Summary there appears to be a spot that says “Decision” but does anyone know if that gets posted before the decision arrives in the mail. I’m just becoming impatient haha- I can’t wait until April!

You’ll just have to wait like the rest of us unless you’re a recruited athlete/an absolute genius. I believe that decisions will be posted online, before letters come in the mail because… well, because it’s the internet and it’s a trillion times faster than “snail mail”.

I don’t think I’ll get in b/c I’m international and need financial aid, and Brown is NOT need-blind for internationals. -sigh- too bad. I’m still hopeful, though. It never hurts to try.

My thoughts exactly on applying- It never hurts to try. I’m skeptical about getting in as well, no one from my school has ever been accepted and I only have a 31 on my act’s. But stranger things have happened.

Yeah, my SAT superscore (because Brown superscores) is 2200 :(. Asian. Unhooked. Need financial aid.

NOO…

Well, I hope they’ll like my essays!

Yes, decisions are posted online before they’re mailed. Brown will announce the date/time in advance through email. It’s usually early April.

^If you live in RI, you actually might get the letter earlier in the day before the decisions are released online. I remember students on CC from RI in my year saying that they got admit letters when they got home from school before 5pm.
