Decision releasing date and time from Cornell website

Freshman decisions will be posted on this site on Thursday, March 31 at 5:00 PM EST. Only freshman applicants will be able to log in to this site on March 31 between 5:00 PM and Midnight.

What we predicted was correct. Good luck guys!

Meh, ED was better. So much more fun to get the decision on a Friday.

definitely, because if you got in you could go party and if you didn't get in you had the whole weekend to recover. now that it's on a thursday night rejected people are going to have to go to school the next day devastated

arp, that's not true. I would not go to school on Friday regardless of the result..

Wrong, I'm not going either way as well...I'm either going to be hungover or depressed...haha, in no condition for attending school!!!!

heh, no kidding, i missed more days during my second semester senior year than ALL years COMBINED since KINDERGARTEN (granted, i've had perfect attendance quite many grades, but still)

but um...what if you got waitlisted eh?

Good point, I guess I'll still be depressed but not as much...therefore I will go out to party and forget about CORNELL!

nothing to do with cornell, but i do feel you're agony of waiting... WHY DO THE SATS HAVE TO COME OUT APRIL 11? and gov's school... still waitin for that too... g'luck all of you!

SAT = Cornell = same anxiety

naaaa:)

Good luck!

cujoe: What gov school did you apply to? I went to Engineering last year. Most amazing month ever. Good luck!!!

science... i was gonna do engineering but then i didn't cuz there was a "better applicant" turned out i have better board and ap scores than "her"... lol

haha...well, I was the only one from my school to get accepted to an academic-based gov school...i think we sent one or two arts people also...but if you get in, you will have an awesome time.

oh well sigh do they provide computers? actually, could u tell me what they gave you and what u needed to bring?

Let's see...we got laptops (note: this information is for engineering; i dunno what you get at sciences, i would assume it's mostly similar though), definitely bring a toothbrush (I forgot mine...had to buy one there woops), we needed a formal outfit for the last day because we had to present the projects that we had been working on the whole month. I would recommend a tv...but only one per room...or per suite...and since you find out who your roommate is until the day you get there, you might want to wait on that and have one of your parents bring it after you talk to your roommate(s). (we had suites at rutgers, so it was one suite with 3 rooms of 2 each, all opening into a small living room with a bathroom...i'm pretty sure all of the other ones are regular dorms) hmm what else...you'll probably be able to find out ahead of time about computers, and if they are giving you computers and you're not used to using a laptop, bring a mouse. touchpads suck. thats all i can think of at the moment...anything else, feel free to ask :)

should we start a new gov school thread in another forum? or is there one already...?

so they give you a laptop to use? most likely? sweet... i'll be off with the tv thing... can i bring an instrument?

do u have aim? that would be easier...

lol yea...k1n6d4v1d
