Well, guys I wish everybody luck in the coming days. I have already got my decision from Columbia and it wasn't what I wanted. But, i guess i kinda expected it. They said that due to the increase number of applicants this year the standards went up. Who knows maybe if I born a year earlier and applied last year I probaly would've gotten in. Oh well, I'm to depressed to continue to type. GL to everybody else, even though the odds are really against you.

I'm sorry that you did not get in. i am just curious how you got to know. did they email you? when?

In each of the last few years, there have been huge increases in the number of applicants and nearly-impossible standards (especially the RD round). It just wasn't meant to be. Sorry about that.

i'm sorry to hear that...columbia always gets a huge amount of applicants. if the number of applicants rose even higher this year... i don't even want to think about the percent of people who were actually accepted. i guess i should be expecting a rejection as well.

How did you hear about your rejection? And I am very sorry.

yeah, how did you find out? I thought we would know no earlier than March 30th..

he is either kidding...or XXXXXX (u say the word)

or he is a transfer

I was a recuit so i was able to find out last week by phone..... ya i know, i was being recuited and still didn't get in, at least I got a free trip out of it
