Decisions- Black Friday

I ran into one of the people who review and rate applications for my school district at starbucks today (i go to a instate school, detroit suburbs) that I met at a campus tour a few weeks ago, and I told him how anxious I was for the next round. He then told me he didn't know for sure since hes not one the admission directors , but he said he thinks the Friday after thanksgiving, is going to be the biggest wave of decisions yet, and its where rougly 50-70% of all early decision applicants recieve some form of feedback.

So that means 9 more days!!

^based on last year's results.....doubtful.....don't remember any decisions on Black Friday....and fwiw, Dec. 21st was the biggest day last year for feedback.

Last year the tremendous response to the ER was a BIG surprise even to Admissions. Perhaps they have improved ... now that they have one year of experience.

Will the admissions office even be open on black friday? That isn't a holiday?

I don't think I can hold out till Dec. 21 though, I am checking every morning frantically.

haha black friday is not a holiday. it's just the day after thanksgiving.

but i'm pretty sure a good load of decisions would be sent that day, considering it'd be two weeks after the last batch.

i dont see how you can base any of this years decision releases on last year considering they've all been completely and utterly different

i hope there's a round of decisions next friday :/ well, i hope that there's a round of decisions if i'm in that round!

Hey you got in anyways strwbrry!!! No waiting for you!!

but us on the other hand.....

and on black friday I am for sure hitting up either Great Lakes Crossing or somerset. which ones better you thinkg strwbrry?
