<p>I was admitted early to Stanford, and I just received the regular decision acceptance package today. They mentioned that all applicants should hear about their decision in the "next few days," and indicated that my package was sent out at about the same time as everyone else's. </p>

<p>i think it's because a lot of information isn't available until now (like the admit weekend booklet, finalized aid info - which i didn't get because i was a little lazy and filed after the deadline, etc.)</p>
