It seems legitimate, given that it was posted on the UC Davis News and Information website, but if it’s true, why wouldn’t they just directly tell applicants this, rather than being all vague and telling us to check our portals in “mid to late March?” Seems weird to me.

But whatever, just thought I would let other applicants know what I found. Looks like I am going to be a nervous wreck next week, waiting for Friday. Lol…

I checked it out and it seems legitimate. One would think you would be notified of when the admissions notifications are finalized. Anyway I can’t wait till next Friday. Thanks for the find and best of luck to everyone.

@Thegameisreal3, it’s weird isn’t it? Both Santa Cruz and Santa Barbara have announced the days they will release decisions (or at least the day they will start), and it seems like if Davis has a day planned, they should just tell us. No reason to make us develop an anxiety disorder with all of the compulsive portal checking. But now we know anyway, and maybe they have their reasons, I don’t know.

And to everyone who thanked me, you are more than welcome, finding this was a complete accident, but I’m glad if it helps. Good luck

Thx for your information. It is weird. Since they already decided the date to release decisions, why wouldn’t they tell applicants through email like UCSC and UCSB?
