my mood is already screwed..... 5 rejections within 20 minutes is Not good

aww.. that must do a number on your self esteem. i'm so sorry :( let's hope tomorrow is better .. for everyone.

hmm I surely hope tomorrow is better

I have had 2 rejections, 2 waitlists and a sole acceptance out of the 8 places I applied to :(

so if it comes saturday is that good?

so far I have 6 acceptances, 8 rejections and 4 waitlists and 4 I havent heard from

no idea. might be good.. or bad.. i wonder what stanford's envelope looks like.. because if i only see a small wimpy thing i just might not open it.. and just shred it right away.. haha jk i dunno. i have a weird thing with rereading my rejection letters until i get sick of them.. and then shredding them..

heh i have them filed in a nice binder with sheet protectors. you never know, if you're responsible for a breakthrough in your chosen field, send the rejection letters back ;)

whatnemesismeans... u never know... maybe they ran out of big fat congratulations envelopes and you end up accidentally shredding your acceptance notice ;)

I have resolved that when I am elected to my first political office I will send back my rejection letters with the following written on it

" Ha HA, don't you wish you could be putting up my name on the list of esteemed and famous alums. I guess you missed the ball on that one. Good luck with future admissions!"

i wonder how many of those returned rejection letters that college admissions people actually get back.. that's a good idea though.. too bad the remains of my yale letter are long gone.. may they rest in pieces. mm.. stanford.. to think that i never had a chance with you.. haha

you don't know that yet.... you still might get in to stanford

Acceptances=3; Rejections=3.
Stanford is the only one due. Lets see which one wins A's or R's.
Sounds like a baseball game, in the 11th innings.
I am keeping my fingers crossed, but I prepared 4 the rejection.
Good Luck to Everybody, I hope this turns out 2 be a great week for all of us.

stanford is my only hope at actually considering to stay in cali.

gl to u guys at stanford. it's going to be a tough mountain for me to climb after getting two blows from ivies and one unexpected jab from berkeley.

i did have enough class though to send emails to my ivy league interviewers. i was humble and sincere. Harvard interviewer actually showed class and wrote a nicer reply than Harvard rejection notice.

I didnt get any responses from the alums I emailed to thank

sempitern555 how'd ur day go? lots of my schoolmates got rejected from ivies... only 1 got into cornell. it's like black thursday

haha black thursday.. i'll find out tomorrow if it was really bad..
columbia sounded like it would be a massacre this year.. then again, most ivies sound like they'll be massacres EVERY dang year. screw ivies, who needs them.. (eff yale especially, haha)

I got 5 rejections within 20 minutes... I dont know how other people from my school fared but I was unpleasantly caught off guard

oh and I also got a 6th rejection

today was not a good day for me... oh well at least I still have duke

yeah...today was pretty unfruitful. 2 rejections (rice and ucb) and a waitlist (cornell). i'm just going to assume ive been rejected from stanford. in the [highly unlikely] event that i get in, it'll be a pleasant surprise! otherwise, it looks like its between cmu and ucsd for me...

im so sorry though, semp...:(

sempitern555: duke is a great school. i hope u have a better day tomorrow or whenever stanford comes.

whatnemesismeans: I agree about ivies. Not really big fan of them. Only applied to 1, I was seriously considering to go to (brown). other two I really didn't care. it was a crapshoot.

lets hope stanford is friendly this year although their admit rate is lower -_-
