Hi. My daughter is trying to make her final decision. She has narrowed it down to Indiana and Colorado. We will be visiting IU in early April, and she will visit CU again for their admitted students day. Any suggestions is helping her to make her best decision? My oldest daughter visited her final two and it was a slam dunk. I am not sure that will be the case for my youngest.

No suggestions…she will have an idea of which one she wants to attend. If it’s a draw, she can always flip a coin. My only free advice…let her decide. She is the one going to college. So I guess I’m saying…don’t help her at all.

The visits will help her make her decision. The “best” decision will be whichever one she makes. ;-)

A wise woman told me that when her D couldn’t decide between 2 colleges, she told her to choose the closer, cheaper school. If there’s not a big difference in cost, I suggest going with the school that’s closer and more accessible. I agree with others that it should be her decision. Good luck!

Ok, your D could go to Boulder and there is still some question here? :)

Take her there first.

After visiting, your D should feel that one of the schools is a better “fit” for her.

Colorado-
Can she stand the altitude?
Can you afford the additional fees for ski’s?
