decisions?

does anyone know if tamu sent out decisions for out-of-state students yet?

i'm beginning to recieve stuff in the regarding housing and whatnot yet i havent even heard back from the school.

February 1st was the first day A&M started sending out decisions to non-auto admits, so if other out of state applicants have gotten anything I'd be surprised. Check the website for immediate results.

I haven't gotten my decision yet, and I live in Texas. There was some trouble with my transcript (I'm homeschooled), but the counselor I spoke with assured me that if the materials were all there by Feb-1, I was okay, even if they hadn't be processed yet.
But yeah, I've gotten a couple of postcards and brochures about various off-campus living arrangements, so I don't know what's going on.
Keep me posted, okay?

thanks!

any day now...

I too have received numerous off campus living arrangement agreements

yeah, ive been getting those postcards to. seems like things are taking forever at A&M. they just processed my application on the feb 3 even tho i submitted december 11. hopefully ill know by april...

I wonder if the postcards indicate anything, or if they just send them to everyone who applies.

I think they just send them to people who apply, I have friends who have gotten them as well. I got them, but after I was accepted.

My son (out of state) received his notice of acceptance in Engineering last week.

When was your son's application on Step 3?

my thing just got to step three a couple of weeks ago, however ive recieved numerous post cards and they called asking if i was intersted in the ROTC. I can't imagine that they send those cards and call all 20,000+ applicants. hopefully this is a good sign... im just sick of waiting

update:

I GOT ACCEPTED!

which is really good news since i just got sorta rejected from university of maryland-college park (i got denied fall semester but i got into spring semester)

so thank you tamu for brightening up my day.

Not to let you down or anything, but they do that to alot of students. The core was calling me at the end of last year as well as calling many of my friends. Same deal with the post cards, but goodluck.

I got my scholarship notifications on Saturday, and I found out on http://applicant.tamu.edu a few days ago that I'm accepted. I haven't received an official, paper acceptance letter yet, but I already accepted their offer of admission online. Congrats to everyone who got in; hope to see you this fall!
