There's nothing wrong with applying for two majors at the beginning of the same semester right? Specifically Bus. Admin. and Econ?

There is a specific form to file for double major (two from same college) or simultaneous degree (from different colleges within Cal).
http://ls-advise.berkeley.edu/fp/Simult_Packet.pdf for example

However, aren’t you talking about simultaneous, a degree from Haas and one from L&S? Not only is that simultaneous, but you need to be formally admitted to Haas in order to declare.

Here is the procedure [Simultaneous Degrees, Undergraduate Program - Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley](<a href=“The Business Administration Major Simultaneous Degree Information - Undergraduate Program - Berkeley Haas”>The Business Administration Major Simultaneous Degree Information - Undergraduate Program - Berkeley Haas)

Thanks for links–those are actually really helpful

But I guess I wasn’t clear…I meant, could I apply for two majors in the same semester (Econ and Haas)? And if I could, and I got into both, what would I need to do then?

yes you can, i just did that and am declared in both.

The link from Haas tells you the exact sequence and process to do that. They suggest you first do the simultaneous degree paperwork with L&S, then bring it along with your admission application to Haas.
