Declaring

Would I have any problem when I declare for Computer Engineering if I go Undeclared at CPP or CSUF?

Both schools are impacted meaning there are more qualified applicants than spots available. You would need to follow the schools recommendation on how to change from Undeclared to CE.

Here is the information for CPP:

-Overall 3.0 CPP GPA and courses in CpE core
-“C” or better in MAT 114, 115, and 116
-Requests must be submitted to the department office by the 5th week of Spring Quarter.
-ENGINEERING Electrical and Computer Engineering Bldg. 9 Rm. 407 909.869.4609 C
-Change of major for impacted majors are only accepted for Fall and subject to available space.

CSUF does not specify their criteria unless you contact the advisement center. I would contact them directly to determine the difficulty of switching.

it is really hard to advise without your stats but, they know that trick - The nice thing about CPP is they will admit into an alternate major. I"d put CE as your primary and a secondary of something not listed as Impacted.

Once you are in, a major change is possible - read about the process here:

I don’t think CSUF, does alternate majors, perhaps because they have a pretty uniform admission threshold.

I’d apply broadly.
