<p>i loved hotchkiss' essay questions O_O but i kind of want to send two of them because one is a poem, not extremely long, and the other is a short, short, essay.</p>
<p>i love choate's short answers. the essay seemed kind of general. it would be the most insightful for the admissions officers, but hardest for me.</p>
<p>sps asks the most philosophical questions, in myyy opinion. but i like them because of that XD</p>

<p>No, the pound is doing really, really badly. It's now worth about €1.07 and $1.46 which is a lot worse than it was just a little while before the whole recession - it used to be worth $2.14. So it's been a huge drop but a good thing for applying for aid! And yes, it's still worth more than the dollar, but it's supposed to be worth A LOT more than the dollar. The British Prime Minister recently had to change sales tax in England from 17.5% to 15% to get people to spend money this Christmas</p>
<p>How are people feeling about the Exeter essays? How are you going to structure them? And, more importantly, how are you going to squeeze them onto a page and a half?</p>
<p>korea's recession was horrible back in october/november. the won would fluctuate, but the majority of the time it would spike downwards. it used to be 1000 won for a dollar, roughly. then it dropped similar to the pound, I guess, to 1,500 won for a dollar. now it's slowly coming downwards in similar but not as dramatic fluctuations, thank GOD. koreans actually backed out of higher education this year, which is insane - nobody really applies for aid here, not because everybody doesn't need it but because we know that it's impossible for top, top schools. i'd love to be corrected with legitimate examples/people</p>

<p>Well I went with whats your favorite song as my first essay....I turned that into a pretty short little essay but very creative. So I saved most of the back page for "write about what is important to you" or something like that. I also drew lines for myself and wrote kind of small but readable.</p>
<p>Ya it took me like 2 days of thinking about SPS crusade question, but once I came up with something it was pretty good.</p>

<p>I did it in one night a couple nights ago. I put together a mix of 2 essays and a little touch up. Looks good enough..I dont really care about deerfield as much tho. All they seem to want to talk about with me is football lol, my moms just to into matriculation numbers. Thats why im applying..</p>

<p>i just sat myself down at my desk, pulled out some paper and wrote it out... now I'm getting it into my computer so it's easier to edit.
i hate typing out drafts on the computer... I don't know why though... right now it's two pages of lined paper. I'm going to use the online application, easier with space! </p>

<p>Ehh, I still have another interview im doing next week. Im done with the essay's ...but I havent written out deerfield so I'm not really DONE. But essentially yes...</p>
<p>I wont feel done till my mom puts everything in a file and sends it off. Then I have to check if my recs are out.</p>
<p>my math teacher's recs have finally arrived... but I don't think that my english teacher has even started my recs yet!!! there are 6 or 7 other kids applying for bs in my class, and one has 8 different schools! my teacher gave him his recs before the break since he didn't put a stamp on any of his envelopes, but I'm not sure about mine... I really hope he sends it in on time!</p>

<p>essays.. god st. paul's is pretty complex, its kinda forcing me to write a philosophical logical response... grr! i personally think deerfields one of the best ones, because you get to specifically talk about yourself. other essays are kind of asking about some other subject, but hands down the essay's really about you. and deerfield asks you to talk about yourself, so hoorah!</p>
<p>Repeat 10th..to a few 11th to A/E maybe.</p>
