Hey, did anyone get letters from the heads of the departments at deerfield saying something like:

Dear _________ I am delighted that you have expressed an interest in attending Deerfield Academy. I have been informed of your interest in our ________ program.

and then they'd go on about how their ______ program is so great at their school. If anyone knows if this is just the norm for Deerfield (what I'm suspecting) let me know. I got ones from History, Math and Music. For the music section there was also a questionnaire on how long I've been playing/singing, and a request for a recording.

oh. I forgot to add. I haven't submitted ANYTHING for deerfield yet. Not even the applicant statement form. I'm guessing this was all from the interview?

Oh yay! I was slightly worried because I wasn't exactly sure how to respond. But if everyone has gotten them then I don't have to. :D Or maybe pinkheart23 and I are just special. ;) Thanks for answering!

Yeah, oddly enough Deerfield sent me the most, even though I told all the school the same information. I already got a few for music, humanities/history, and running.

Edit: I was just wondering, would there be a problem if I didn't get letters from some of the schools? Kent, St. Pauls, and Tafts didn't even send me a single thing after my visit...
