Deferral Percentages?!

I was deferred from early decision and was wondering if anyone knows what the percentage for deferral was.

I know that the early decision pool increased 8% etc. etc.

but what about those who are deferred?! Do I still have a chance?! I've been in contact with my rep. and sent an extra teacher rec. and an update and retook the SATs in January and went up....

ugggh i just want to go so bad. colleges suck

I'm not sure about the chances, but someone else here might. Keep pushing it, and your hard work may just pay off. I don't know if my motivational words helped or not?

I think the deferral rate was around 25% (more or less equal to the acceptance rate)?

This is for 2010, but I imagine the numbers for this year are comparable:

"26.1% of Early Decision applicants to Columbia College were deferred to Regular Decision."

alright thanks! so thats and then about 5% of those will be re accepted right?

it says in your deferral letter that the rate is comparable to that of RD. so about 8% (probably a little higher) for the college and 20% for SEAS
