Deferral under Review

<p>Hey guys</p>

<p>I applied for Phd in McGill University in the Department of Engineering. They said I was late to apply for PhD position in Fall 2013. So the graduate studies asked me for a deferral date. I recommended for summer 2014.</p>

<p>From that instances my application has a title "DEFERRAL UNDER REVIEW"</p>

<p>After that I was awarded Scholarship by the university for jan 2014 (fall 2013) (cc to my prof). So Graduate studies again send a email to confirm with the prof when i wanted to join like summer 2014 or fall 2014 with cc to my prof. But the prof has not replied tilll now (abt 20 days).</p>

<p>Whats the does that mean? Will the prof reply directly or via me? will i get admission?</p>

<p>Jan 2014 is Spring 2014, not Fall 2013.</p>

<p>It’s really difficult to tell what you are saying in that last paragraph - the Graduate School sent an email to the professor who will be supervising you at McGill to confirm when you wanted to begin? And the professor hasn’t replied?</p>

<p>It’s impossible for us to tell you what this means, how the professor will reply and especially whether you get admission. Why don’t you try contacting the professor or the graduate school directly to get the answers to your questions?</p>
