Recs/Essay: should be good

Close to 90% of Blue Devil frosh in top 10%. It's gonna be real tough to hear good news come spring. You'll get into a good school though. Did you apply to Davidson? I see your stats at an excellent second tier LAC, say Colgate, Bucknell, Colby, Bates, etc. Ohio has some good ones too, Kenyon, Oberlin, and safeties like OWU or Denison. Good luck. (Remember, it's just so damn hard now to get into a top school. Just think each yr. there are 54000 valed/salut out there-- top schools can reject most and still have a class of top top students.)

Meh? MEH???? Try putting that into your essay and see where that gets you....

but honestly, the thing about duke is almost everyone has a unique story. if you dont tell your story, then you're just one of 1000s of ppl with incredibly high SATs.

I'm pretty sure your grades are the only reason why you were deferred. If you make straight A's (high A's) , then you have a good shot at acceptance.
