I applied Early Action to Notre Dame and got deferred to the Regular Applicant pool. Does anyone know what the chances of getting into Notre Dame are for deferred students? I heard that about 50% of deferrals end up getting in RD, but that seems like a very high estimate. Thanks.

anybody???

bump bump bump

does anybody know?

No, it’s not 50% but it’s decently high. What are your stats? I can give you a better estimate then…

I can’t really estimate without your stats, but I know that most people that get deferred from a school are accepted RD, although this may be a little different at Notre Dame.

bump…

Whats your ethnicity?
If your white, I think you have a 50/50 chance. Nothing stands out, but nothing is a total breaker. Average ND student.

i’m white. you have no idea how frustrated i get over ethnicity being factored into admissions decisions…as if being a certain race makes you more qualified - it’s such a joke

Have you spoken to the golf coach? Might be worthwhile…

hey thanks for the idea DadinPA
