Hi!!
I just found out that I was deferred from ED2 to the regular decision pool. I’m a little confused because I thought most schools only reject you at that point. Do you guys have any tips for what I should do between now and when they release the decisions?
Hello Emin, you probably don’t want to hear this but I’m sorry. I’ve gotten a lot of rejections lately and trust me it sucks. The fact you were deferred shows you’re good for them but the situation is dicey right now. I’m not the best to say but I think a show of interest will be great at this point, probably a well written letter/essay sent to your admission counsellor. Or you instead just wait it out till March(because normally I would do the former but not everyone agrees with my personal nature) Also try updating them on achievements IF ANY giving them the more reason to finally let you in.
The best advise I can give you anyway is to PRAY! Pray Hard or Go Home!

PS: I don’t normally reply to messages on CC but five rejections and you’re ready to TALK!
Hii! I also found out that I was deferred from ED2 to the regular decision pool. But I have no idea what to do. DO you have any suggestions? Have you updated anything on your application? and any idea how many are deferred approximately?
Hi y’all! As of right now, you should not do anything to your application. If I were in your guys position, I would write a personal written letter to the office of admission to show them that you are very interested in going to Wes. This year we received a record number of applications which explains why deferring rates went up. Again, a letter would be nice. If you have any other questions about Wes, please reach out to me!
