Deferred & haven't recieved Dec ACT scores....

I was deferred ED so I retook my ACT in December, hoping my new scores would be better. However, I still haven't received them. I think the first day they were released was Dec 27th and I've been checking back very Wed/Fri (the days new scores are typically posted) since. Apparently, the scores could take up until Feb 8th to be sent...is this going to be too late? I'm getting really worried! Also, should I sign up for the Jan 22nd SAT? I was planning on doing that if I didn't score better on the ACT but I haven't received scores so I'm not sure what to do. And I feel like SAT scores will definitely come in too late to be considered...what should I do?!

Your December ACT scores should arrive in time. Usually it’s the writing score that takes time to receive. Generally the composite score which is what we evaluate comes back sooner. You can always contact the ACT and ask when your composite score will be available. If you receive it, even as late as February 8, you can fax that score report to us and it will get there in time to be reviewed.

A January SAT result will likely come in too late to be considered.
