<p>well i actually did that already kinda... the other day i called them to see exactly what it was, and they said that it isnt really a deferral, they just genuinely need more time. i also asked about the whole counselor screw up thing and they said that i was still in the EA pool. Im still a little confused on all of this i guess ill just have to wait it out.</p>

because i applied month earlier than friend and my friend got accepted right away</p>

<p>paul1212, I got the same letter in the mail this week. I applied reg. decision on December 31st. Did your letter tell you how to check you application status online?</p>

<p>I think it's because they have an X amount of spots to fill with their EA pool. You guys will most likely get in as RD....</p>
