Deferred & just got accepted!!!

<p>I got a letter last week stating I have been deferred and today I just found out I have been accepted!!!! I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy....dnt lose hope and keep checking your email/wolverine access!</p>

<p>ahh that’s so exciting! congratulations-I can’t even begin to imagine how amazing that would feel. Just out of curiosity, what deferral letter did you receive? Also, did you contact admissions, send in any extra materials, etc. or do you think they just started to see spots open up after ED acceptances were released?</p>

<p>thank u guys :))) and it feels so amazing! I got the letter from theodore spencer executive director and it said something like “thank you…however bla bla” and “this is still good news” lol umm and your part of a “special group” or something.</p>

<p>Congrats! I have a little more hope now, especially because you got the same deferral letter as I did. Now I wonder if I should send in my 7th semester grades (they’re not very good :confused: )</p>

<p>I’m in high school, but I take all college classes (I got to a special charter school program thing). That’s why there’s no AP’s.</p>

<p>Geography - A
Physics - C
Required Computer Class - A
Ceramics - A-</p>

<p>So now my GPA is a 3.71 instead of a 3.81 :/</p>

<p>I’m really hoping I’ll get accepted (I was deferred)…I know of a school in my town last year where all 7 kids were deferred and then 6 were accepted…I think my 7th semester grades will help a lot</p>

<p>I dont understand… don’t they look at your app until RD? Once they make a decision they don’t look at it again… or do they?</p>

<p>I think i got the same letter as you did, but did yours ask for 7th semester grades at all?
Mine said something like sending them in would help my chances…</p>
