Hey,
I was deferred ED II. Kenyon doesn’t post anything about the percentage of deferred students getting admitted during regular decision. Anyone got deferred and then admitted or rejected? Any other information?

I am also suffering a deferral and get a rejection from UIUC today. I am pretty curious about what happened with the admission process this year because the students who apply for ED1 were easily accepted. I hope it is just a trial to test our interest in Kenyon. Maybe we should ask our interview alumni about this. They might help us to contact the school.
Maybe ED II was more competitive this year. They probably took so long to send out the decisions because there were more applications then they expected this year? I though that it would be easier to get in ED so, idk how we will fare in RD. A lot of athletes apply ED for DIII schools so, maybe they needed to accept them over us. Hopeful we’ll get in RD but, definitely important to have a back up school now.
I am thinking about the ways to increase the possibility to get into it. Maybe new activities or a well organized “Love Letter” could work. And meanwhile we can urge those who gets desirable ED and EA enrollment to withdraw the application for Kenyon.
Haha, yea hopefully we will end up getting in. This is causing a lot of stress now…
So this time we need something really special…Maybe I will go to Syria to fight ISIS
Hey, seriously, will you think producing a crystal at home only using simple mineral compounds an activity that show my interest in Chemistry? I am applying for the chemistry department after all.
