Deferred: When to send update

Since I submitted my application in October, I've been elected to several new leadership positions and received some other awards. When would be the best time to send a letter with this information? I'm waiting on a few other awards (National Merit Finalist, etc.) that won't be out for another few weeks (sometime in February). Should I wait for those, or send the update sooner?

I think you can wait until mid-february....

when I contacted my regional admin. officer she said that as long as the updates got to them by March then it was ok

i think its case by case--- depending on the rep you got and what you;re sending in. if you got something that could tip the scales, so you may want to send just that item in so they can focus on one thing. bottom line everybody's case is different.

work through DWD first and that will tell you why you got deferred. then you will know what to do from there.

I already sent an update to my local admissions officer, just to be sure it got there in time to be considered for the RD round. I will also be sending my February ACT scores to them. I would send it sooner than later.

Hey, how do you find the contact info for your area rep? I lost my cell fone and all the numbers and info that came with it.

I sent an update via email because I know I won't be getting any cool award or shenanigans until after may, and my adcom wanted me to put all my updates in one e-mail in mid-february. hope this helps

im an RD applicant and sent my application wayy early...i just sent in a couple of updates and they said they'd include my email in my file :D

my D an RD applicant got some new awards lately she sent(2 weeks ago) a nice letter to the colleges( by certified mail )with the updates.

how do you find the contact info for your area rep?

your asc rep should have that info

thanx a lot. I was 2 seconds from a panic
