As I hadn't had any significant accomplishments after applying early to Yale, I neglected to send an update letter in February after midterms. However, in the past week, I have won a minor awards and have been promoted to two different leadership positions at work (interviewing new applicants, and full member). Is it worth it to send in an update letter now, so late in the admissions process?

It’s too late. Mid-February is usually the latest to send updates in.

I would fax it to Admissions tomorrow. My kids sent in updates up until the middle of March.

What can you lose if you send it?

I spoke to my regional adcom and he said that it was ok to send in updates up until mid march (giving them extra time to consider your materials, however, will only benefit you).
