<p>Hi! I was deferred ED and I was wondering if anyone knew what the deferred rate was this year and how many people usually got in from that pool. Thanks so much!</p>
<p>NU defers VERY few students, as in, well under 50. In past years, about half of those students have been admitted. If you were deferred, it means they are still very interested in you. NU has generally been very transparent about this and has told deferred students that they are waiting to see mid-year grades. They want you to “rock the grades” senior year.</p>
<p>You definitely have a better chance than the other RD students. It’s still not a sure thing, but like momof3sons said, they have admitted around half in past years, as far as I know.</p>
