I got a deferral letter from that Vice provost named Theodore L. Spencer. In the letter, it barely says that strong fall semester or second trimester grades may improve your status in the deferred pool of applicants, so I m assuming that the grades are not REQUIRED. I think my 7th semester's grades are not going to be good, in fact, it may drag down my GPA because all these AP and honor classes I m taking. So i wonder if a weak or not strong 7th semester's grades will HURT my chances??

This is just my opinion, but I don’t think I’d send them, especially if you have the GOOD deferral letter. I’m in the exact same boat as you by the way (got the same letter). I think they just want to see how the RD pool works itself out and then they’ll reevaluate those who got into the “good” deferral list pool. However, this is just my way of thinking. Ladygaga explained it well in one of your posts in another thread.

the out of state student maximum limit will affect students getting in after getting the good deferral letter. The more who decline the more get in off deferral based on major and state.
