Deffered stats...

Does anybody in here know the RD acceptence rate of deffered applicants?

usually slightly less than 30% accepted early, which Princeton attriubutes to the higher quality of the applicants.

I believe he was asking what percent of those deferred early tend to get in regular, not what percent get in early.

ah my mistake. in that case i have no idea.

someone said 14% somewhere on this board

Ahh.

It's DEFERRED not DEFFERED.

Sorry, I just gotta point it out =)

lol.. this time of the year, ppl forget that spelling quite often... and its quite forgivable.

It's ok, it's just the word "deferred" had been so frequently and blatantly misspelled that it just looks bad =) haha.

look at last year's posts... loads of them misspelt the word.

omg i hope i don't get deffferred

****10 characters

ummm why did u post that, mathwiz?

I think because it is misspelled, not misspelt...

Both are correct.

I reiterate the fact that 14% was mentioned somewhere on the boards..

Is it really necessary to correct people?

yeah i read something about 14% too...better than 8 or 9

"Is it really necessary to correct people?"

I think it's kinda lame, but to each his own.

mathwiz- in american english, it might be misspelled but in british english it is fine to say misspelt..

i find it funny when people try to correct but are wrong themselves..(no offense though)

lol in both AMERICAN and BRITISH english, they both work.

they better do.. lol
