<p>Hi,</p>

<p>Im a sophomore (with a good GPA) at the University of Illinois at Chicago as a Financial Economics major. Next year, Im studying for my junior year at the London School of Economics.</p>

<p>My question is..</p>

<p>After I graduate with a degree in economics and a focus on finance and banking, can I still find a good job with a bank? I dont really want to be a researcher or an academic. I just want a job with a bank or financial institution. Is an econ degree too theoretical to be applied to financial jobs?</p>
