<p>I plan on staying in school to earn my B.S. in Biology as well as my M.S. in Biology. With the masters program, its designed to take people who are working 2 years. I wonder if since I won't be working would it take me shorter to get the M.S.?</p>

<p>Is there any reason you're assuming the two years stated is for part-time students and not full-time? It's pretty rare for MS in the pure sciences to last only a year.</p>
<p>From what I know it only takes a year if you're going full time if you take a few graduate courses during your time getting your bachelor;s</p>
