It gets warm in Newark, some summer days it gets close to 100 with a heat index of 105-110, the humidity can really be brutal. And yes, it can sometimes get pretty cold here, down some highs in the teens in the heart of winter. You can almost always count on some snow each year, how much varies widely, but odds are there will be at least one snow day for the local school districts, although not quite so often for the university.</p>
<p>It’s horrible I tell you, HORRIBLE. Blizzards in the winter, blazing hot in the summers, monsoons, tornados, even the odd tsunami! Classes are cancelled most days, and students huddle together in frigid study rooms. Fortunately most of the local eateries own Artic Cats, which come in handy for delivering take-out.
