Delaying enrollment deposit?

<p>Hello all,</p>

<p>I applied for transfer to four schools: Umass Amherst, UNH, Northeastern and Boston University. So far I have only received an acceptance letter from Umass Amherst, and they require an enrollment deposit by June 1st.</p>

<p>Since it is May 19th, the deadline is coming close and I am worried about the other schools not replying to me before Umass Amherst's enrollment deposit deadline..</p>

<p>Is it common place to ask for extensions on this? Can I call the institutions that have not replied and request an expedited reply? </p>

<p>How would you suggest I proceed? Thanks!</p>
